In 2016, my husband and I decided to combine our passion for the outdoors and our love for our dogs into a business. Focused on the design of high-quality, functional, and stylish gear that enhances the outdoor experience for dogs and their owners, Spruce Pup was born. Our first product was a travel bed, designed to fold up like a suitcase. This design was inspired by our three-legged dog Moe, whom we always wanted to keep comfortable no matter where we went. The bed was launched on Kickstarter in 2017 and was fully funded within the first 24 hours. To match our adventure-inspired products, we needed a brand that would fit into the lifestyle of the outdoor dog owner.
